Blogger Recognition Award

Hello sweet peas!

So a while back I was nominated by Nira, Aqsa, Anju, Rosame and Rosinalee (I potentially missed someone, so if I did apologies!! Do let me know in the comments haha) to do the Blogger Recognition award, and because I am super organised here it is! 😉 Thank you so much for nominating me, and for having so much patience with me haha! 🙂

So, here we go!

Rules:

3. Give a brief story about why you started blogging
4. Give two pieces of advice to new bloggers
5. Nominate 15 other bloggers for the award

My story:

Well, for about six months I’d been hearing about blogging, bloggers, and blogs, but I didn’t really know any. after reading Girl Online, I decided to give it a shot. So, on July 16th I created Lui Maria blog, wrote a post, and left it for a month. Dedication, right? 😉 then, one day I was on Zoella’s blog and I saw this really sweet comment by Courtzbella, so I thought I would check out her blog. Somehow my computer logged me into my blog, and so I discovered I could follow her blog. I left a comment, and before I knew it I had my first follower! 😀

It’s only gone up hill from there! Despite my initial anxiety about blogging, I found it to be really fun, and that the community of bloggers I had found myself in was really inspiring, positive, and encouraging! 😀

Advice:

• My advice is to be as social as possible! Honestly just talk to people, because chances are, they are going to be really lovely, and want to chat! 🙂 This is the best way to build a strong community on your blog. Remember, quality over quantity! 😉
• My other piece of advice to just write about what you want to write about. If you feel like doing an award, do one. If you want to do a positivity post, do it! A make up post, go for it!
