Learning to Love Yourself #1

Good morning sweet peas πŸ˜€

I honestly just say good morning any time of the day (it probably really confuses people πŸ˜€ ), mostly because I am right for 50% of the day πŸ˜‰ and I know how to say it in German, French, Te Reo, and Italian (I think…)

Anyway, this isn’t a linguistics post, I’m just sharing some more unique LuiΒ fun πŸ˜€ (its actually evening for me anyway).

Today I want to write a post about something we can all relate to: learning to love yourself!

Loving yourself for being yourself is one of those things that once you’ve got it, you aren’t ever going to give away! But how do you get there in the first place?

  • Be you! No one in the world is quite like you. No one has your personality, your quirks, your values and beliefs, and all the other awesome things that make you you! That’s quite awesome really, that we each have our own things πŸ™‚

So , it’s easy enough for me to say to you all to “be yourself”… but how do you do that? πŸ˜‰

One thing I have definitely noticed is that you need to start by being around people you can be yourself around. I know personally that there are some people who I am not my complete self around them. Nothing against them, but I just don’t feel completely comfortable. So, make sure your friends, and that people you surround yourself around, are people who can hold you in your hard times, hug you in your vulnerable times, laugh with you in your funny times, and smile with you in your happy times. I know without a doubt that my friends are people I can be myself around, and you already know I love them so much! My family too, I know I can be myself with them πŸ™‚

It can be really hard discovering that one of your “friends: isn’t someone you can beΒ yourself around can be really hard, but you should never feel obligated to hang around people any longer than necessary. Find people that support you, and know and love the real you πŸ™‚

Okay, so that is addition one, but I really would like to do a few more posts like this, because I don’t think I can do it justice in one post! πŸ™‚

I really hope you enjoyed it, and please do leave your thoughts in the comments, because you all have amazing things to say, and make me smile on a daily basis πŸ™‚

And thank you so much for your patience with me recently, I really am going to try to be on here more often! I always reply to comments, and I read them all πŸ™‚ I will be endeavouring to read all your blogs as much as I can πŸ™‚

Love you all, and thank you for your help last week πŸ™‚
