Why Do I Blog?

Hey sweet peas πŸ™‚ ❀

Over the last week I’ve had a lot on: school production, my brothers birthday, and been very unwell. So first of all, thank you for your support during my absence!! πŸ™‚ But I’m back and ready to continue my blogging ❀

I’ve been thinking recently about how much my blog has changed and grown over its duration (it’sΒ about 9 months old now!!!). I have started to have my blog take place in my offline world more so than it used to be, which has lead to me discussing it with family and friends. One question I got a lot was: “what is your blog about?”.

All you bloggers here are probably understanding right now that for such a simple question it can be quite hard to answer!! eventually I managed to break it down into the main message and goal I have for this space I love so much: taking experiences from my own life, be they “bad” or “good” and using them to help or relate to people in similar situations. There’s the saying “we learn from our mistakes” and I guess sometimes it helps to learn from others too. But not just my mistakes! Also the experiences I love so much, and learning moments in my life.

I guess ultimately I want to make the world a better place, and if I can turn the rubbish things in my life into positive learning experiences and hopefully help someone then I am doing that πŸ™‚

I can’t believe that a year ago this didn’t even exist, especially when some of the most amazing people and friends I knowΒ are part of thisΒ πŸ™‚

Thank you so much for supporting me sweet peas (this got a lot more sentimental than I had planned πŸ˜€ )

I would love for you to tell my why you blog in the comments below, or if you do a post like this let me know and I will check it out! ❀ πŸ™‚

  1. One thing I want to say: I love you so much (lol hope that doesn’t sound creepy) as a fellow friend and blogger. You are such an amazing inspiration, and what you are doing with your experiences and sharing your voice on your blog makes you such a brave and awesome person. Each of your posts that I have read, has touched me in some way and I remember when I first started blogging, I found your blog and I’m so glad that I did πŸ™‚ ❀ I'm hoping to post something like this some time in the summer (I guess that makes it winter for you in New Zealand? πŸ˜€ πŸ˜‰ ).

    Virtual hugs,

    Aqsa ❀

  2. Using your experiences to possibly help someone is a great reason to blog. It’s part of why I blog too. And also as a way of releasing emotions and thoughts on the way I’m most comfortable with. I’ve always loved writing and consider myself good at it. Some friends even suggested I do so why not? Those are the main reasons I startedπŸ™‚

  3. I agree that answering this question is hard! It took me 1 year of blogging to find out that I like posting mainly lifestyle posts. I love your reason for blogging! Have a great day lovely! xx

  4. I agree; it is a hard question to answer! I blog because, *pauses to think about it for 10 minutes* I want to spread positive vibes, share tips, diys, and entertain with poems or stories. You have such a great reason to blog.
